Third graders saw force and motion in action on their field trip to the Rock Springs Impact Center bowling lanes! The students used pushing forces to send their bowling balls down the lanes and watched as that motion sent bowling pins flying! They also saw how the oil-slicked lanes created less friction for the bowling balls. It was a wonderful time experiencing science in the real world!

Mrs. Stone's class dove into the world of Mixtures and Solutions by experimenting with dissolving candy corn in different solutions! Students tested water, baking soda water, vinegar water, and salt water to see which would dissolve the candy corn the fastest. 🧑🔬✨
